To the North West of Kobe Sannomiya Station, on a fifteen minute walk up the hill, tucked away in an alley along the Tor Road in the Kitano area, you'll find the stylish "Rog Cafe" instagram.com/rog.cafe. Opened in July 2023, the café got its name 'Rog Cafe' from 'River On Ground,' signifying a vibrant place.

The café has a refined exterior with wooden platform steps leading towards a stylish wood door entrance featuring a wainscot design with a brass wall lamp next to it. Stepping inside the café you will find the kitchen and counter seats on the left, a private leather sofa nook on the right and a more private space in the back of the café that also allows pets. Before the renovation, the café was a different coffee shop. During the renovation, they preserved the hardwood counter, floor and door and incorporated other elements to craft a chic interior with an American design theme, adorned with baseball items, showcasing the owner's passion for the sport.

The cafe's menu is a blend of coffee sourced from Lima Coffee Roasters, donuts from The City Donuts and Coffee, and their own original items, such as waffles, creating a diverse and satisfying selection.

カフェの外観は洗練されており、木製のプラットフォームの階段があり、スタイリッシュな木製のドアの入り口に続き、その隣には真鍮製のウォールランプが付いています。 店内に入ると、左手にはキッチンとカウンター席があり、右手には革張りのソファセクションがあります。お店の奥に、ペット同伴も可能なプライベートスペースもあります。 改装前は別の喫茶店でしたが、改装中、前のお店の無垢材のカウンター、床と入口のドアをそのまま残しており、他の要素を取り入れて、アメリカンデザインをテーマにしたシックなインテリアを作り上げ、野球アイテムで飾られ、オーナーのスポーツに対する情熱を表しました。

Rog Cafeのメニューは、「リマ・コーヒー・ロースターズ」のコーヒーと「ザ・シティ・ドーナツ・アンド・コーヒー」のドーナツをメインして、自家製のワッフルなどのオリジナルアイテムを組み合わせたメニューになっています。
