Hands down, One Of The BEST donut shops in the Kansai area!!!!

Now that we got that out of the way, welcome to "The City Donuts and Coffee", a small donut shop located on a 10 minute walk from Hankyu Kobe Line - Sannomiya Station. The City Donuts and Coffee is part of a larger brand called "The City" which also includes a barbershop "The City Kobe" and even an interior design company "The City Interiors".

The donutshop opened in March 2021 and sits on the ground floor of a quadrant shaped corner building in a quiet neighborhood. You will find the entrance under a blue canopy with "The City Donuts and Coffee" written on it.

The interior is spacious, with a lovely herringbone design floor, boasting an American-style design with elements reminiscent of the USA. Notably, you'll find a prominent American-style lightbox above the order counter, a classic American payphone tucked in the corner, and, of course, the presence of the American flags, completing the authentic ambiance. The seating consist of a small table with counter chairs in the corner and six counter chairs along the wall in the back.

The main attraction however, are of course the delicious looking items inside the glass showcase on the order counter, The DONUTS!

The City Donuts and Coffee offers a wide range of different donuts that include: Banana Island (covered in slices of banana), Cookies and Cream (covered with oreos), passion fruit, pistacchio, a simpsons version, a more savory version maple bacon and many more delicious flavors. In the morning from 09 am to 11am there is a special morning menu where you can pair a donut (classic glazed, cinnnamon or plain) with a coffee for ONLY 500 YEN! The donuts are freshly baked and warm when they arrive and just by grabbing them you can feel how soft they are. Dont be surprised if your donut is suddenly finished because thats how absolutely delicious they are that you finish it before realizing. Besides donuts the cafe also sells hamburgers, hot dogs, muffins and pancakes.

The City Donuts and Coffeeへようこそ。阪急神戸線、三宮駅から徒歩で10分ぐらいに、清閑なエリアにある角の建物の1階に位置してます。2021年3月にオープンして、お店はThe Cityというブランドに美容院「The City Kobe」とインテリア事務所「The City Interiors」と傘下しています。

店内は広々として、素敵なヘリンボーン床とアメリカのエレメント「お店入ってすぐ手前にアメリカンスタイルのライトボックスがオーダーカウンターの上にかけられていて、お店の多くの角に伝統的なアメリカン公衆電話とアメリカの旗」でアメリカンインテリアスタイルになっています。お客席は丸いテーブルとカウンターチェア一つとお店の奥の壁沿いのカウンターチェアも六つあります。

もちろん、一番魅力的なものはオーダーカウンターの上にあるガラスショーケースの中に綺麗に並んでいます。美味しそうなドーナツ！！

ドーナツはBanana Island「スライスバナナに覆われているドーナツ」、Cookies and Cream「オレオクッキーに覆われているドーナツ」、Passion Fruit、ピスタチオ、可愛いらしいSimpsonバージョン、メイプルベーコン、などなど、様々な美味しいフレーバーから選べます。Morning Menuもあり「朝9時から11時まで」、ドーナツ「プレン、クラシックグレースやシナモンシュガー」とコーヒーはただ500円！！お得です！！ドーナツは焼き立てでホカホカふわふわもちもちしてとても美味しくて、いつの間にか食べちゃって、びっくりする。「もうなくなった？」。ドーナツ以外にもバーガー、マフィンとパンケーキもあります。
