Located in South Osaka, "Rindo Coffee"  instagram.com/rindocoffee/ is a charming patisserie café bar that opened in April 2023. The café sits on a five-minute walk from the Hanwa Line - JR Minami-Tanabe Station and is housed in a renovated 100-year-old nagaya kominka. While mostly the front part of the building has been renovated, the rear remains largely untouched, creating a unique blend of modern and traditional Japanese interior styles. The façade features a wooden sign that says (りんどうの花) "Rindou no hana," which translates to "Gentian flower."

Upon entering, you'll find the order counter and display case on your right and a long bench along the wall on your left. Towards the back, there's an intimate two-seater nook under the stairs. At the rear of the café, an elevated platform requires customers to remove their shoes to sit on the tatami floor space or at the bar seat on the right. At the very back, there's a lovely tsubo niwa (inner garden) and the restroom.

Rindo Coffee serves an array of delicious sweets, including cakes, parfaits, tarts, Basque cheesecake, crepe cake, pie, and brûlée, all beautifully arranged in the glass display case at the order counter. The drink menu features American coffee, café latte (500 yen), vanilla latte, matcha latte, caramel apple juice, and a variety of teas.

Rindo Coffee is a lovely cafe that sells delicious sweets and drinks and comes heavily recommended.

南大阪の方に2023年4月にオープンした、素敵なスイーツカフェ「りんどうコーヒー」があります。阪和南田辺駅から徒歩で5分ぐらいのところに、築100年以上の長屋古民家カフェになります。店内は半分ぐらいリノベーションされて、奥の方がほぼそのまま残されていたからインテリアはモダンと和風のミックスになっています。

店内に入ると、すぐ右側にオーダーカウンターとスイーツが陳列されたガラスケースにあり、左側の壁沿いに長いウッドベンチ席があります。奥にすすむと、階段の下に二人用の少しプライベートスペースがあります。お店の奥に、小上がりに一部座敷のエリアとバーカウンター席があり、ここを利用したい場合は靴脱ぐ必要があります。さらに、お店の裏側に坪庭とトイレがあります。

りんどうコーヒーでは、ケーキ、パフェ、タルト、バスクチーズケーキ、クレープケーキ、パイ、ブリュレなど、さまざまなおいしいスイーツが、注文カウンターのガラスのショーケースに美しく並べられています。ドリンクメニューには、アメリカンコーヒー、カフェラテ（500円）、バニララテ、抹茶ラテ、キャラメルアップルジュース、さまざまなお茶もあります。

りんどうコーヒーは素敵でおしゃれなスイーツカフェですが、スイーツもとても美味しくて、おすすめなカフェです。
