Nestled in a quiet neighborhood in Amagasaki area, Hyogo Prefecture is the stylish cafe "Sukuta Coffee" instagram.com/sukuta_coffee, just a five minute walk from Fukuchiyama Line - JR Tsukaguchi Station or a ten minute walk from Hankyu Takarazuka Line -Tsukaguchi Station. The cafe occupies the bottom floor of a standalone house, once a garage, now partially renovated to accommodate the café. Sukuta stands for Sumu (meaning to reside), Kurasu (meaning to live) and Tanoshimu (meaning to enjoy in Japanese) and is run by a friendly gentleman who opened the cafe in May 2022.

Designed by the owners wife, transforming a former garage space, the stylish interior of Sukuta Coffee is snug yet inviting. The original rolling shutter remains intact but now sits behind sliding glass doors, adding a touch of charm. The counter boasts a sleek curved design, accentuated by a counter wall finished with exquisite stucco, done by a talented Kyoto plasterer. The stucco finish comprises four distinct horizontal layers, reminiscent of the stratified layers of soil—an homage to the owner's profession as a soil inspector. Seating options include a wooden bench along one wall adorned with quaint wooden side tables, alongside a few stools positioned towards the rear of the café.

The menu at Sukuta Coffee offers a variety of options to satisfy your cravings. Choose from drip coffee, available in Sukuta Blend, iced coffee, and single-origin selections. Espresso lovers can indulge in café lattes (500 yen), Americanos, affogatos, or straight-up shots of espresso. Non-coffee drinkers can enjoy refreshing orange or apple juice, or opt for a soothing matcha latte or a fruity blueberry smoothie. To complement your drink, Sukuta also offers delicious sweets such as their signature pudding with ice topping, or simply a scoop of ice cream, alongside occasional baked treats.

兵庫県、尼崎エリアの閑静な住宅街に佇むおしゃれなカフェ「Sukuta Coffee - スクタコーヒー」instagram.com/sukuta_coffeeは福知山線JR塚口駅から徒歩で5分、又は阪急宝塚線塚口駅から10分のところに位置してます。一戸建ての1階の、元々ガレージだったスペースを改装して、カフェへと生まれ変わりました。2022年5月にオープンして、店名「Sukuta」の由来は「住む」のス、「暮らす」のクと「楽しむ」のタからきていて、とてもフレンドリーなジェントルマンによって営まれています。

インテリアはオーナーの奥様がコーディネートされ、ガレージスペースがスタイリッシュなカフェインテリアに変更され、小さいほっこりするスペースに仕上がっています。ガレージのシャッターがそのまま残されて、シャッターの前にガラス張りのファサードが設けられて、よりカフェのような感じがします。丸みを帯びた形のキッチンカウンターがおしゃれで、腰壁はわざわざ京都から来てもらった左官屋さんによって美しく仕上げられました。腰壁の仕上げは、店主の本業である地盤調査の仕事やちなんで、地層をイメージした土壁でデザインされており4 つの異なる水平層で構成されています。客席は壁沿いのウッドベンチと素敵なウッドサイドテーブルとお店の奥にある様々のスツールで構成されています。

メニューには、コーヒーはsukutaブレンドのドリップコーヒー、アイスコーヒー、シングルオリジンから選ばれます。エスプレッソベースは、カフェラテ (500 円)、アメリカーノ、アフォガート、またはエスプレッソがあります。コーヒー以外には、爽やかなオレンジジュースやリンゴジュース又は抹茶ラテやフルーティーなブルーベリースムージーもあります。スイーツメニューはプリンやアイスがあり、プリンにアイスをトッピングすることもできますし、たまに焼き菓子も提供されています。
