Hoo, pronounced as 'phewww' as a sigh of relief is a stylish cafe that opened in May 2023 and is Loose Kyoto's second branch. Hoo sits in a renovated machiya in a quiet neighborhood, on an eight minute walk from Karasuma Line - Marutamachi Station.

Occupying a renovated machiya, Hoo catches your eye with its cashmere colored stucco exterior, large window with a clear view on the interior inside and stadium seats in front of the cafe. Inside you'll discover a two-story space, with the kitchen and order counter situated on the first floor, and a small seating area for up to 10 people on the second floor. Above the kitchen, an atrium allows natural light to cascade through, adding to the café's inviting atmosphere. The interior design embraces simplicity, with exposed mudwalls and a ceiling left uncovered, creating a raw and authentic atmosphere. Handmade tables, featuring natural hardwood table tops, and tree trunks repurposed as seats, contribute to Hoo's unique charm.

When it comes to the menu, Hoo caters to coffee enthusiasts with a variety of options including classic espresso drinks like lattes, americanos, and mochas, or soft drinks like, soda, matcha latte and houjicha latte. Hoo also offers additional options such as decaf, oat milk, and soy milk for a small extra charge. Pair your beverage of choice with one of their delicious snacks, including plain donuts, custard doughnuts, and American dogs.

ホッと一息つくように「ふーー」と発音する「Hoo」は、2023年5月にオープンしたおしゃれなカフェで、Loose京都の2号店です。烏丸線丸太町駅から徒歩で8分の閑静な住宅街にある町家をリノベーションされたカフェです。

カフェの外観はカシミヤ色の漆喰と店内がはっきりみえる大きな窓、カフェの前にあるスタジアム席のようなベンチは配置されておしゃれな外観になってます。カフェは2階建てで、1階はキッチンとオーダーカウンター、2階には10人ぐらいが座れるカフェスペースになっています。オーダーカウンターの上は吹き抜けになっており、自然光が降り注ぎ、カフェの雰囲気を盛り上げています。内装はシンプルなデザインで、むき出しの土壁や天井が生々しく残されています。テーブルの天板は無垢材で、椅子は丸太で全部手作り、Hooのユニークな魅力に貢献しています。

メニューは、ラテ、アメリカーノ、モカなどの定番エスプレッソドリンクから、ソーダ、抹茶ラテ、ほうじ茶ラテなどのソフトドリンクもあります。または、カフェインレス、オートミルク、豆乳などのオプションもご用意しています（別途料金）。プレーンドーナツ、カスタードドーナツ、アメリカンドッグなどの軽食もあり、美味しいドリンクと一緒に楽しめれます。
