This cozy little cafe is called ‘Ha Ra’ and is located on a 5 minute walk from Keihan Line’s Demachiyanagi Station.
The cafe is situated along the busy Kawaramachidori between the Kamo river and Kyoto Imperial palace.
Ha Ra opened its doors only recently and is already making a name for itself, and rightly so.
Ha Ra’s menu has a variety of delicious items including Lasagna, french fries and sweets but it’s the BLT and Vegetable sandwiches that are the top items.
The sandwiches might look like simple sandwiches but when you take a bite a savory flavor enters your mouth. Its unlike something I have ever eaten.
After finishing one plate, you’ll definitely desire for more.
The café has a simple, full glass window exterior.
The interior is a renovated Japanese shop where only one Japanese style ‘sand-wall’ has been left untouched, this with the rustic, farmhouse style furniture and interior items which give the café a cozy and and relaxing atmosphere.
Hours: 10:00 AM ~ 19:00 PM
