サンエフ 3fsanefu (instagram.com/3fsanefu) is located in Hanakuma, just a 1-minute walk from Hanakuma Station. It is also about 3 minutes from Nishi-Motomachi Station, 5 minutes from Minato-Motomachi Station, and 9 minutes from JR Motomachi Station, making it easy to reach from several nearby stations.

The café opened in April 2026 in a former dental clinic. The third-floor space was renovated while retaining some of the character of the original building. The name “3F SANEFU” comes from its location on the third floor.

The café serves hand-dripped coffee using beans roasted by stain coffee, including Thai coffee. The food menu includes egg sandwiches and tartines, while sweets include homemade pudding and gâteau au chocolat. The café also uses a selection of Japanese ceramics and vintage tableware.

The interior has a distinctive Japanese-French vintage style, with furniture and objects from the 1950s and 60s. One of the rooms is like a treasure trove of vintage furniture and interior pieces collected by the owner over many years, showcasing his passion for 50s and 60s interior design. The space also retains some of the building’s original character, including concrete surfaces and tiled areas, giving it a relaxed, slightly raw atmosphere.

The main attraction is the transformation of the former dental clinic into a stylish vintage café and gallery. The ordinary exterior and building entrance contrast with the carefully curated interior upstairs. The owner’s personal collection of furniture and interior pieces from the 50’s gives the café a strong sense of character, making サンエフ feel more like stepping into someone’s carefully assembled vintage collection than a typical café.
