Weekenders Coffee Roastery is the second branch of the Weekenders coffee brand and is located on a short walk to the south of Hankyu Line's Kawaramachi station.

The roastery opened its doors in 2019 and is located in an old kyomachiya that used to be a school that was then renovated into a coffee roastery and a co-working space called Garden Lab.

Similar to the Tominokoji branch, this roastery is situated in a beautiful Japanese style building that combines old and modern elements. Inside the roastery is a dimly lit interior with the roastery and workplace taking most of the space. From the entrance you will follow a narrow corridor along the roastery and towards the order counter. Across from the order counter is a beautiful handmade washi (和紙) is traditional Japanese paper) pendant light 35N by Isamu Noguchi.

You proceed to order your drink that you can either take-out or drink in the back of the roastery, we recommend the latter. In the back of the roastery is a beautiful and peaceful Japanese garden with a 100 year old Maple tree where people can enjoy their coffee on the wooden bench under the canopy. Especially in Autumn when the maple-leaves turn red is a must visit. Here is also access to co-working space Garden Lab.

The menu is limited and includes 'today's pour over, pour over, espresso, cappuccino, cafe latte (510 yen) and an iced cafe latte'.

Weekenders Coffee Roastery is a must visit not only for it's coffee but also for its beautiful building and inner courtyard.

ウィークエンダーズコーヒーロースタリーはウィークエンダーズコーヒーの2番目の支店で、阪急線の河原町駅から徒歩で10分以内、南の方のところにあります。

建物は元々京町屋で学校として使われていましたが、改装されて、焙煎所とGarden Labというコワーキングスペースして2019年にオープンした。

富小路支店と同じよう、ロースタリーは、レトロとモダンの要素で構成された美しい和風の建物の中にあります。店内にはインテリアが暗くて、ほとんどのスペースは焙煎所と職場に使われています。入り口から、焙煎所に沿って注文カウンターに向かって狭い通路があります。注文カウンターの向こう側に美しい手作りのイサム・ノグチさんの和紙ペンダントライト35Nがあります。

飲み物を注文してからテイクアウトや焙煎所の奥にあるスペースで飲めるのチョイスがあり、おすすめは奥にあるスペースです。焙煎所の裏にとても美しい和風の庭と100歳以上の紅葉の木があります。庇の下にウッドベンチがあり、コーヒーを飲みながら静かの庭をエンジョイすることが出来ます。特に秋、紅葉の時期に行った方がおすすめです。Garden Labのコワーキングスペースもすぐ後ろにあります。

メニューはチョイスが少なめ、「今日のポアオーバー、ポアオーバー、エスプレッソ、カプチーノ、カフェラテ（510円）とアイスカフェラテ」があります。

ウィークエンダーズコーヒーロースタリーは、コーヒーのためだけでなく、美しい建物と中庭のためにも訪れるのはおすすめです。
