Located in the outskirts of Otsu, Shiga is 'Tachiki music hall', a spacious café that sits on the cliff along the Seta river.

Following the Ujikawa Line road South from Otsu city, traveling along the Seta river you will find Tachiki on your left. The building is black surrounded by walls made of concrete blocks with holes inside. In front of the café is space for at least 6 cars and the entrance has a ramp for strollers or wheelchairs, however wheelchairs can only use the first level of the cafe. The interior is a simple room with an auditorium style layout and tables all facing towards one large window that looks out over the Seta river.

Since the café sits right on the edge of the cliff, it offers an uninterrupted view over the river and the beautiful nature alongside it.

The view is like a painting and every season you will be able to enjoy a different view.

Sometimes Tachiki will organize music events with artist performing in front of the window. Drinking coffee, listening to lovely music while enjoying a beautiful view.

滋賀の大津の郊外、瀬田川沿いに「Tachiki Music Hall」『立木音楽堂カフェ』があります。

車で大津市から宇治川線で瀬田川沿いに南方向へ行って、Tachikiは左側にあります。建物は黒いで穴に入ってるコンクリートブロックで構成されてる壁に囲まれています。カフェの前に6台用の駐車場がありますし、入口の前にベビーカーや車椅子の方のためにランプもあります。インテリアはシンプルで講堂スタイルのレイアウトになっています。テーブルは全部同じ方向に、瀬田川が見える大きな窓を面しています。ランプあっても車椅子の方はカフェのデザインで一番上の段しか使えない。

カフェはちょうど崖の上に位置しているから川と周りの自然はくっきりに見えます。本当に絵みたいで各季節に違う眺めがエンジョイできます。

定期的にTachikiは音楽のイベントを開催して、アーティストは窓の前に演じて、景色を見ながら、音楽を聴きながら飲み物とスイーツをエンジョイことが出来ます。
