In central Kyoto on a five minute walk from Senbon-Imadegawa busstop (bus #6 or #206) is the stylish shaved ice-cream shop called 'Sawa'. Sawa's full name is 'Kyonokoori Sawa' and opened its doors in August of 2021.

The ice-cream shop has a stylish exterior and a spacious interior with tables and counterseats for up to 8 people. You don't need a reservation but the shop is quite popular, especially in the summer so don't be surprised to have to wait in line.

Sawa's menu consists of a variety of unique shaved ice cream flavors including: 'cafe mocha white, kiwi yoghurt caramel, pudding a la mode and many more. Not just simple flavors but a each bowl has different ingredients mixed that makes for a fantastic shaved ice cream dessert. It makes for a great refreshment on a hot day.

京都中心の千本今出川バス停から徒歩で５分に2021年8月にオープンしたスタイリッシュなかき氷屋さん「京の氷屋 さわ 」があります。

外観はおしゃれで、店内は広々として、テーブルとカウンター席があり、8人ぐらいのお客席があります。

メニューは様々な美味しいなかき氷があり「カフェモカホワイト、キウイヨーグルトキャラメル、プリンアラモードなど」のフレーバーから選ばれます。味は単純じゃなくて、各ボールに色んな味がミックスされて、特に暑い時期にとても爽やかで美味しいかき氷です。
