Near Fukushima Station is 'Cafe Twelve', a cozy little café  famous for its delicious cheesecake and shaved ice cream.

Café Twelve sells more than 10 different bowls of shaved ice with simple flavors like: "Caramel Nuts, Strawberry Milk or Tiramisu" but also somewhat more unusual flavors like: "Strawberry Fromage, Spicy Choco Caramel Raisin or Chocolate Espresso".  There is even the more extravagant "Corn & Strawberry" shaved ice-cream. Yes, you read that right. Corn. No flavor is too crazy for the owner who often experiments around with new flavor combinations.

While the ice is of course absolutely amazing, its the hospitality that also makes Cafe Twelve on of our favorite entrees.

The cheerful and funny owner will make a quick chat and will provide the customers with a straw to drink the molten ice before it flows overs as well as provide a hot cup of water to prevent your mouth from freezing off.

Best ice-cream in Kansai area

福島駅の近くには、美味しいチーズケーキとかき氷で有名な居心地の良い小さなカフェ「カフェトゥエルブ」があります。

CaféTwelveは、「キャラメルナッツ、ストロベリーミルク、ティラミス」などのシンプルなフレーバーだけでなく、「ストロベリーフロマージュ、スパイシーチョコキャラメルレーズン、チョコレートエスプレッソ」などの珍しいフレーバーのかき氷を10種類以上販売しています。さらに贅沢な「コーン＆ストロベリー」のかき氷もあります。はい、トウモロコシ。新しいフレーバーの組み合わせを頻繁に試すオーナーにとって、あまりにもクレイジーなフレーバーはありません。

かき氷はもちろん美味しいは決まってるんですが、CaféTwelveのオーナーの対応、おもてなしさが一番得意ので、かき氷は美味しく食べるだけでなく楽しい時間も過ごせる。

陽気でおもしろいオーナーが声かけたり、おしゃべりしますし。かき氷を食べながらのサービスも大切してくれます。溶けたかき氷を飲むためにストローを提供したり、口が凍らないように暖かい水も丁寧に用意してくれます。

CaféTwelveは本当におすすめなお店です。
