Located on a two minute walk, across the river from Shichijo Station is 'Kamogawa Arts & Kitchen', a stylish and cozy two floor café & gallery.

From the outside the entire building has a simple charcoal blue exterior with sliding doors on the first floor that are opened on sunny days.

The inside of the café however has a modern style interior with a mix of industrial and rustic elements. Above the café area is a atrium, which leads in a lot of light, that in combination with the numerous plants gives the café a cozy atmosphere.

The café is divided by a flight of stairs in the middle of the café. One side of the café has the kitchen and counter seats for customers and on the other side of the stairs there is the café area with two tables and a bench against the wall in the back. The stairs lead to another café area on the second floor with 3 more tables and a small aisle with artwork and a couple more counter seats that also serves as the coworking space. There are roughly 25 seats in total. Good for small groups.

Kamogawa Arts & Kitchen also has a co-working space on the second floor which only requires a one drink purchase. On top of that they even provide a meeting room that can be used for free for up to 30 minutes, anything longer than one hour costs 500 yen per hour.

Their main dish is a delicious quiche plate or a curry plate but they also have a sandwich and pizza as well as an assortment of sweets.

It's a lovely café ideal for people who want to have a nice lunch is a cozy cafe, love art or need a place to work.

七条駅から川を渡って徒歩2分のところに、スタイリッシュで居心地の良い2階建てのカフェ＆ギャラリー「鴨川アーツ＆キッチン」があります。

外から見ると、建物全体がシンプルなチャコールブルーの外観で、1階には晴れた日に全開ができる引き戸があります。

外観と違って、カフェのインテリアはモダンなスタイルでインダストリアルとラスティックなエレメントで構成してます。カフェエリアの上にはたくさんの光が差し込む吹き抜けがあり、たくさんの植物と相まって居心地の良い雰囲気がします。

1階のスペースはカフェの真ん中にある階段で分かれています。カフェの片側にはキッチンとカウンター席があり、階段の反対側には2つのテーブルとベンチがあるカフェエリアがあります。階段に上がっては2階のカフェエリアがあります。このエリアにはさらに3つのテーブルと、アートワークのある小さな通路と、コワーキングスペースとしても利用できるカウンター席があります。トータルは約25客席があり、小さなグループでも大歓迎。

鴨川アーツ＆キッチンの2階にはコワーキングスペースもあり、お席をご利用の際は１ドリンクのご注文が必要です。その上、30分まで無料で利用できる会議室もあり、1時間以上は1時間500円かかります。

メインディッシュは美味しいキッシュプレートやカレープレートですが、サンドイッチやピザ、様々なお菓子もあります。
