Across from Utsubo park, located in a big office building along the Yotsubashi Suji road is this cute and cozy café called ‘Interior Bookworm Cafe’. It’s the Tiny House Nation version of a café, right here, in Osaka.

‘Interior Bookworm Café’ is as the name already suggests a café catered to interior design lovers as the shop is filled with hundreds of foreign and Japanese interior design magazines, all displayed on one of the walls and available to be purchased like a tiny bookstore.

The entrance to the café is slightly hidden, located inside the hall of the ‘Century’ office building. It’s a white door with frosted glass that has a really thin logo of the café on it.

When you enter the café you will be welcomed by the cute and narrow interior that makes space for both the cafe and the interior designer’s office located directly on top of it. They achieved this by adding a ceiling in the middle of the 1,5 floor high space which serves as the floor for the architect and as the ceiling for the café, something you might see in ‘Tiny House Nation’ on Netflix.

The cafe’s counter and architect’s office are designed like a tiny ‘tree-house’ which adds to the coziness of the interior. Even though the café is pretty narrow, the large window and the full wall sized mirrors help make the café feel more spacious.

The shop is decorated with architectural tools and other small items. And after paying the bill the receipt will come from a tiny typewriter on the counter which is cute.

The cafe’s main dishes are galettes or crepes and various coffees or other drinks.

It is the ideal place to relax, read a magazine while having lunch or a nice coffee.

四つ橋筋の靭公園の向こう側にある「センチュリー」というオフィスビルの１階に小ぢんまりとしたカフェ「インテリアブックワームカフェ」があります。NetflixのTiny House Nationという番組のカフェバージョンみたい。

「インテリアブックワームカフェ」 の名前の通り、インテリアデザインが好きな方向け、100枚以上の日本と外国のインテリアデザイン雑誌が壁一面に掲げられています。雑誌は購入も出来ますから小さな本屋さんみたい。

入口は「センチュリー」ビルの中にあるから最初はちょっと迷うかもしれません。扉は白いと曇りガラスに薄いロゴがあります。

カフェを入ったら、狭いと小ぢんまりとしたスペースが見えます。カフェの真ん中にウッドフロアで1.5階のスペースはカフェと上にある建築会社のオフィスに分かれています。これは珍しく、NetflixのTiny House Nationの番組しか見えないデザインスタイルです。

カフェのカウンターと上にあるオフィスは両方小さなツリーハウスのようなデザインしたからもっとほんわかの雰囲気がします。カフェのスペースが狭いけど奥にある大きな窓と壁についてる鏡でもっと広く見えます。

カフェは建築系のツールと小物で飾られています。お金を払ったあと、レシートはお客様側においてある小さな可愛いタイプライターから出てます。

カフェのメインメニューはガレットとクレープです。様々なコーヒーと他の飲み物もあります。

落ち着いたカフェなので、コーヒーを飲みながら雑誌をよんだり、ゆっくりランチを食べたり、リラックスするためにこのカフェがおすすめです。
