On a five minute walk from JR Tokaido-Sanyo line's Tachibana station in Hyogo's Amagasaki area is the stylish ‘Brunch & Cafe Ricca’. Take the south exit, follow the promenade until you see an opening through the building, walk through in and you will find the cafe located on a corner on the first floor above a grilled meat restaurant facing the Festa shopping mall.

The name Ricca comes from the nearby station Tachibana 立花 which in Japanese can also be read as Ricca and opened its doors in 2022 after it was renovated into a stylish café. It’s a spacious café with both table and counter seats as well as one comfortable corduroy sofa corner with a total of over twenty seats. It has a modern style interior with the renovation done by guts company who also did the gut's coffee and knot market place which only took two weeks. The stylish wooden counter with a view over the street in front of the café was handmade by the owner of Ricca himself.

The menu offers food (toast plates), sweets (cake and muffins) and drinks that range from coffee, tea, latte and delicious ice-cream sodas. The toast plates come with a side of salad and potato salad and look absolutely amazing with the stylish dish and Dulton collection cutlery. In the future the café will also open in the evening as a bar an will serve rare Slovenian wine.

Ricca opened only recently but promises to be a popular café that serves delicious lunch in a comfortable atmosphere and definitely one of the must visit cafes in the Amagasaki area. If you are in the neighborhood, this café is definitely recommended.
