On a 5 minute walk from JR Osaka Loop Line's Noda Station is 'torepo coffee', a Japanese kominka (A Kominka is an old Japanese folk house, which is basically structured with wood, clay, straw and bamboo) renovated into a stylish café.

During the renovation the exterior and interior have been mostly left untouched hence the exterior still has the appearance of a typical Japanese kominka. The building is located on a large plot with a wide entrance that has a bicycle parking on the left. When entering the grounds you can find a Japanese garden on the left and a small authentic Japanese storage house on the right. The front of the building has large glass windows with plants in front of them to give the visitors inside a little bit of privacy. The entrance to the café is accessible through a narrow passage on the right of the building.

The interior feels spacious due to the large atrium and vaulted ceiling which still features the kominka's wooden beams and a wooden framework. The hardwood floor and sand walls are also remnants of the kominka. The interior combines a Japanese style interior mixed with rustic and modern elements. The furniture consists of beautiful hardwood tables and a variety of chairs that include windsor bow back chairs and other unknown antique chairs. The order counter is a beautiful smooth concrete counter with a white brick backdrop that adds a modern touch to the retro interior. The large green plants placed throughout the café give it a cozy atmosphere. Torepo uses large wooden 'groenten doos' (Dutch for 'vegetable box') boxes for customers to put their belongings next to them when they are visiting the cafe.

There are plenty of seats (for up to 26 people) consisting of small and large table seats, window counter seats as well as some seating on the second floor but requires you to remove your shoes when you climb the stairs.

They have a small menu with coffee (high roast, medium roast, ice coffee, cafe au lait), tea and juices as well as pudding, cheese cake and various sweets to choose from the glass case on the order counter.

torepo coffee is a lovely cafe with a beautiful rustic & Japanese style interior that is a great place to have a drink and some sweets and take in the interior. Even though there are plenty of seats, we advice to visit early since torepo is extremely popular and often has waiting lines.

JR大阪ループ線の野田駅から徒歩5分ぐらいのところにスタイリッシュなカフェに改装された古民家「とれぽ珈琲」があります。

改装された際に外観と内観はほとんど触れてないので外観は今でもまだ典型的の古民家のデザインになっています。建物は広い敷地にあり、エントランスの左側に駐輪場があります。敷地を入ると、左側に日本庭園があり、右側に小さな本格的な収納建物があります。建物の正面には大きなガラス窓があり、カフェの中にいるお客様のプライバシーを守るために正面の前には大きな植物が置いてあります。

店内には大きなアトリウムとアーチ型の天井でカフェの空間が広く感じますが、古民家のウッド梁と木組みがまだ残っています。ウッドフロアと土壁もまだ古民家の残りです。インテリアは和風のインテリアスタイルでラスティックとモダンのエレメントに構成されています。家具は、美しい木材のテーブルと様々のレトロの椅子「ウィンザーボウバックチェア」に構成されています。注文カウンターはコンクリートの仕上げと後ろにある白いレンガの壁で多少モダンな雰囲気を加えてる。カフェにはあちこちに置いてある大きな植物で居心地の良い雰囲気になっています。とれぽ珈琲は、大きな木製の「groenten doos」（オランダ語で「野菜の箱」）の箱を使用して、顧客がカフェを訪れたときに鞄とかを隣に置いています。

お客席が多く「約26席」ありますが、様々なテーブル席と窓側のカウンター席に構成されて、2階に席もありますが、階段を上がる前に靴を脱げる必要です。

メニューの選択が多くないけど、コーヒーなら「ハイロースト、ミディアムロースト、アイスコーヒー、カフェオレ、など」、紅茶とジュースがあります。さらにプリンとチーズケーキもあります。注文カウンターの上にあるガラスケースからも色んなスイートから選ばれます。

トレポコーヒーのインテリアはとても素敵でメニューのアイテムも美味しくて、とてもおすすめなカフェです。席数は多いですが、とれぽ珈琲はとても人気なので早い時間行った方がおすすめです。
