Story Coffee and Espresso is a small and stylish café that opened in March 2022 and is located in the middle of Shimoogawacho area on ten minutes from Kyoto Gyoen National Park.  The café is owned and run by a young friendly lady who studied one year in Vancouver and then came back to Japan with the desire to become a barista and run her own café. To achieve her dream she went to a barista school in Tokyo where she graduated and then went and open a café in Kyoto, 'Story Coffee and Espresso'.

The café is located on the ground floor of a renovated house turned into café. It has a light blue façade with large windows that give a clear view of the interior of the café. The entrance consists of a double door that can swing open and make it even accessible for people in wheelchairs. The interior has a simple modern interior style and consists of one table with chairs, two small stools with hexagon shaped side tables and two counter chairs.

The menu has a wide variety of drinks that include coffee (espresso single, double, café latte (600 yen), cappuccino, French press), home made lemonade or chai, organic juices or milk for kids. As for sweets the café offers delicious cheesecake, scones, pound-cake and more however the availability depends on the day.

Story Coffee and Espresso is a lovely, stylish new café with a varied drink and sweets menu run by a friendly cheerful owner that speaks fluent English. Its also conveniently located near Kyoto's National park. It's a nice addition to the Kyoto café scene.

Story Coffee and Espressoは、2022年3月にオープンして、京都御苑から徒歩で10分の下小川町エリアの中心に、小さなスタイリッシュなカフェです。カフェのオーナーはカナダのバンクーバーで一年間留学して、日本に戻ってバリスタになりたくて、夢を実現するために東京のバリスタスクールに通い、卒業後、京都にカフェをオープンして、フレンドリーで英語ペラペラな女性です。

カフェは、改装された家がカフェに変わった1階にあります。水色のファサードに大きな窓があり、カフェの内部がはっきりと見えます。玄関は両開きの扉で構成されており、車椅子の方でもアクセスしやすいです。インテリアはシンプルでモダンなインテリアスタイルで、椅子付きのテーブル、六角形のサイドテーブル付きの小さな椅子2席、カウンターチェア2席で構成されています。

メニューには、コーヒー（エスプレッソシングル、ダブル、カフェラテ（600円）、カプチーノ、フレンチプレス）、自家製レモネードまたはチャイ、オーガニックジュースまたは子供向けのミルク、さまざまな飲み物があります。さらにチーズケーキ、スコーン、パウンドケーキなどの美味しいスイーツもありますが、日によって焼き菓子のメニューがは異なります。

Story Coffee and Espressoは、ペラペラな英語を話せるフレンドリーなオーナー、さまざまなドリンクとスイーツのメニュー、スタイリッシュなカフェです。また、京都御苑の近くの便利な場所に位置しています。京都のカフェシーンへの素敵なカフェが増えました。
