Located on a walking distance from Nijo Castle is 'SICOU', a special café with a lovely rustic style interior.

SICOU which stands for (思考 - thought or consideration, 至高 - supreme or 嗜好 - taste, preference) is special as in that the owner only allows two customers in at a time to maintain a peaceful atmosphere which is the concept of the café.

It's simple. You come in. You order your coffee and sweets (cookie or cake). You enjoy your coffee in the peaceful atmosphere of the lovely rustic interior and then you leave.

The interior is small an consists of 2 benches and 2 chairs, a antique wardrobe and lovely pendant lights. The paneled glass window let's in sunlight that gives the café a warm atmosphere.

It's a little bit of zen, a quiet atmosphere in the middle of a crowded Kyoto.

単純なコンセプトです。カフェを入って。コーヒーとお菓子（クッキーまたはケーキ）を注文して。静かな環境で、素敵なラスティックなインテリアでコーヒーを楽しんて、またお店を出る。

インテリアは小さく、ベンチ2二つと椅子2二つ、アンティークのワードローブと素敵なペンダントライトで構成されています。パネル張りのガラス窓から日の光が差し込む暖かい、居心地が良い雰囲気になってます。

とても賑やかな京都の中心にある静か、素敵な穴場です。
