Hidden away behind a machiya at the end of an alley is "Sekai Soko" instagram.com/sekai_soko, a stylish cafe and gallery space. The cafe sits in the middle of Kyoto center on a seven minute walk from Hankyo Kyoto Line - Karasuma Station. Despite its central location, the café can be easily overlooked as it's tucked away behind a machiya housing a kimono shop and the entrance of the driveway that leads to the cafe has noren hanging in front of it, partially obscuring the view of the cafe. Sekai Soko opened in February 2022 and means World Warehouse in Japanese as it literally sits in an old renovated warehouse.

The cafe has a spacious interior that covers two floors, with the order counter and a seating space on the ground floor. Up the stairs, on the second floor you will find a large open gallery/art space that includes a cafe area with large tables. In addition there is also a small seating area outside in front of the cafe where a signature Piaggio Ape 50 is refurbished as a table. The cafe has a unique interior with a contemporary interior style with a mainly white color scheme decorated with large art pieces. It's piece de resistance is that large beatles sculpture in the back of the warehouse which was presented at a graduation gallery before the cafe opened.

Sekai Soko offers a wide range of items on its menu with drinks including coffee (cafe latte 700 yen, mocha, soy latte, americano, espresso), tea (fruit, earl grey, chocola tea) as well as soft drinks and alcohol. The food menu offers delicious sandwiches (ny grilled cheese sandwich, avocado cream cheese and ham hot sandwich, fruit berry French toast) or sweets (tiramisu, cannele, gateau chocolat, cheese cake) etc.

阪急京都線烏丸駅から徒歩で7分のところに、町屋の後ろにおしゃれなカフェとギャラリー「Sekai Soko　世界倉庫」instagram.com/sekai_soko が隠してる。京都の中心に位置しても、町家にある着物屋さんの後ろにあるし、暖簾で入口が見えにくいから見逃しやすいカフェです。2022年02月にオープンして、本格的の倉庫の建物にあるカフェです。

カフェは2階建てで、1階にはオーダーカウンターと座席スペースがあり、広々とした空間となっています。 階段を上った2階には、大きなテーブルのあるカフェエリアを含む大きなオープンギャラリー/アートスペースがあります。さらに、カフェの前には屋外の小さな座席エリアもあり、ここにはヴィンテージのPiaggio Ape 50が展示されています。 白を基調としたモダンなインテリアスタイルに、大きなアート作品が飾られた個性的なカフェです。 最大の特徴は、カフェがオープンする前に卒業ギャラリーで発表された、倉庫の奥の壁にある大きなビートルズの彫刻が飾られています。

世界倉庫のメニューでは、コーヒー（カフェラテ 700円、モカ、ソイラテ、アメリカーノ、エスプレッソ）、紅茶（フルーツ、アールグレイ、ショコラティー）とソフトドリンクやアルコールなどがあります。 フードメニューは、美味しいサンドイッチ（NYグリルチーズサンド、アボカドクリームチーズとハムのホットサンド、フルーツベリーフレンチトースト）やスイーツ（ティラミス、カヌレ、ガトーショコラ、チーズケーキ）なども提供してます。
