On a 5 minute walk from Motomachi station and on a walking distance of Kobe tower and Meriken park is the stylish cafe 'School Bus Coffee Stop Motomachi'. It's the 3rd branch out of 4 (Kitahama, Kyoto and Sakai) of the school bus coffee stop renovation company and the only one in Kobe. The Motomachi branch is another uniquely designed branch with some similarities but mostly original elements.

It sits on the ground floor of an apartment building and has a matte black wood panel exterior with 'Schoolbus' in white cursive font on it. The entrance door and window frame have wainscot paneling and feature brass elements as well as lovely signature school bus style lettering. On the left side of the exterior are four sliding doors that are opened if the weather allows it.

The interior is spacious with a mix of mid century, urban and industrial interior design that features a lot of wood and iron. The order counter and kitchen are on the right of the entrance and seating area on the left with a large shelf in the middle to separate the two. The cafe area has a variety of seats that include the usual table seats, counter  and a sofa corner with comfortable sofa and chairs.

Their menu has a drink and food section with coffee using beans from Coava Coffee in Portland, US. Their most popular drink is the Flat white. For food they have a variety of delicious toast plates that look and taste great.

With School Bus Coffee Stop you can't go wrong. Similar to its other branches, it has a stylish exterior and interior that serves delicious food and drinks in a relaxing atmosphere. The staff is also friendly and it's a must visit if you are in the area.

カフェはマンションの1階にあり、外観はマットブラックのウッドパネルな壁面になって、入口の上に白い筆記体のようのフォントで「Schoolbus」のサインが掛かっている。入口の扉と窓のサッシにはスタイリッシュなデザインで、ウェインスコットパネルと真鍮の要素で構成されています。窓にスクールバスの典型的なスタイリッシュなテキストが書いてあります。外観の左側のほうには引き戸が４つあり、天気の良い日に扉開いて気持ちいい爽やかな風が店内に入れます。

インテリアは広々として、ミッドセンチュリー、アーバンとインダストリアルなデザインでアイロンとウッドの要素で構成されています。入口の右側にオーダーカウンターとキッチンがあり、左側に大きなカフェスペースが大きなタンスで区切られている。お客席はテーブル席、カウンター席とより快適なソファセクションで構成されている。

メニューには食品と飲み物両方があり、コーヒーはアメリカのポートランドにあるCoava Coffeeが使われています。ここのスクールバスカフェにはフラットホワイトのアイテムが一番人気です。食品には様々なトーストプレートがあります。

やはり、スクールバスコーヒーストップなら安心です。おしゃれなカフェ、フレンドリーなスタッフ、美味しいコーヒーとご飯でくつろげるカフェでとてもおすすめです。
