Kitahama just got a little better. Opened in May, a new challenger is on the block and it's called 'Sandwich Parlour 47'.

It's a great little café right along the river with a terrace that has a view over Nakanoshima island.

The café is located on the ground floor of a narrow office building and stands out with its woodboard entrance where the customer will first pass the order counter, order the food and pay before taking a seat. Walking towards the back you will find a large table with small stools, a counter area and a terrace with plenty of seats. The terrace is great because even if it rains or if the sun shines, they have a canopy so you can enjoy sitting outside comfortably.

Sandwich Parlour 47 sells.......well, sandwiches. They sell various delicious sandwich plates that cost about 1200 yen that come with a side of delicious fried potato wedges. Many of the sandwiches use ingredients from other prefectures (Hokkaido sour cream avocado dip salmon sandwich, Akita Prefecture smoked radish pickles with potato salad and grilled mackerel sandwich, etc), sounds amazing right? Well it is!

Besides sandwiches they also sell soup, as well as sweets like tiramisu and softcream which make for a great desert.

For drinks they also offer juices with ingredients from different prefectures like Wakayama mandarin juice, Aomori apple juice, Yamanashi peach juice etc.

Its a great place to relax and enjoy absolutely delicious sandwiches while enjoying the view over Nakanoshima.

大阪の大人気カフェ巡りエリア北浜にはもう一つの良いカフェが増えました。5月にオープンした「サンドイッチパーラー47」というスタイリッシュなサンドイッチカフェです。

カフェは川沿いなので、テラス席でもありなので中之島を眺めながらランチを楽しめることが出来ます。

サンドイッチパーラー47は狭いオフィスビルの1階に位置してます。エントランスは全体木製ですが入口の上にお店のロゴはネオンサインでおしゃれな雰囲気がします。

お店入ってからすぐ右にあるレジカウンターでオーダーしてから席を決めれます。小さなスツールに囲まれてる大きなテーブル、カウンター席とテラス席、多様の客席があります。テラスには庇があるから、雨でも、太陽がまぶし日でも外でランチを楽しめることができます。

サンドイッチパーラー47のメニューには名前通りでサンドイッチがもちろんメインです。様々な美味しいサンドイッチプレートがありますが、プレートにもとても美味しいな櫛形フライドポテトがついてきます。様々なサンドイッチプレートは他の県の材料が使われています「北海道産サワークリームのアボカドディップのサーモンサンド、鳥取県産大山鶏胸肉の自家製ハムとフレッシュ野菜のシーザーサンド、秋田県産いぶりがっこのポテトサラダと焼き鯖サンドなど」。プレートはだいたい1200円ぐらいになっています。

サンドイッチ以外にはスイーツ「ティラミスとソフトクリーム」もありますから、サンドイッチ食べてからよいデザートになります。

飲み物には、色んなジュースがあります。ジュースにも他の県からの材料が使われています「和歌山県有田の飲むみかんジュース、青森県産林檎の100%ストレートジュース、山梨県産まるごと桃ジュースなど」。とても爽やかなジュースで美味しい。

サンドイッチパーラー47にはゆったりくつろぎの時間を過ごせて、中之島を眺めながらとても美味しいサンドイッチを楽しめるのでとてもおすすめです。
