Piopiko is an exquisite Mexican bar & lounge located in the beautiful Shinpukan in Kyoto.

Run by Michelin star chef Chef Wes Avila, Piopiko brings Californian style Mexican food to Kyoto.

The interior of Piopiko is spacious and has a contemporary design, with a bar and lounge spread over two floors. The lower floor has a simple but stylish lounge area where people can have a drink and enjoy the dj's music from the copper dj-booth. The second floor has soft and cozy C shaped lounge sofa/table combo as well as normal tables for people to enjoy the food menu. The jewel of Piopiko however is their massive copper bar that serves delicious cocktails.

Besides the gorgeous interior design, the best thing about Piopiko is of course its menu. Both their food and drinks. Their main dish is their amazing tacos, but honestly every single item on the menu is finger-licking good and the presentation wonderful. Many dishes use cilantro (coriander), a herb with a strong taste, but it mixes so well with the other ingredients that it doesn't dominate the flavor. Besides the food, piopiko makes mean cocktails. Piopiko Margarita, Cacao Mai Tai, Craft Batanga, Tepache Sour are just a few of their many original cocktails.

Piopiko is an exquisite taco bar with a gorgeous interior, wonderful hospitality and serves absolutely fantastic food and cocktails. We highly recommend visiting whenever you have the chance.

京都の美しい新風館という建物の中に絶妙なメキシコのバー＆ラウンジ「ピオピコ」があります。

ミシュラン星のシェフ、ウェス・アビラが経営するピオピコは、カリフォルニアスタイルのメキシコ料理を京都に導入しています。

ピオピコのインテリアは広々としていて、コンテンポラリーなデザインで、バーとラウンジが2つのフロアに構成されています。下の階にはシンプルでスタイリッシュなラウンジエリアがあり、銅製のDJブースでドリンクを飲みながらDJの音楽を楽しむことができます。 2階にはフードメニューをちゃんと楽しむために、柔らかく居心地の良いC字型のラウンジソファ/テーブルコンボと普通のテーブルがあります。しかし、ピオピコの特徴のアイテムは、おいしいカクテルを提供する巨大な銅のバーです。

ゴージャスなインテリアデザインの上に、一番重要はもちろんピオピコのメニューです。食べ物と飲み物の両方。メインディッシュはタコスですが、正直言うと、メニューの全部が素晴らしくて、プレゼンテーションも素敵です。味の濃いハーブのパクチーが多少使われていますが、他の材料とミックスされて全然食べれる美味しい味します。食べ物の以外、ピオピコのカクテルがめちゃくちゃ美味しい。 ピオピコ・マルガリータ、カカオ・マイ・タイ、クラフト・バタンガ、テパチェ・サワーは、多くのオリジナルカクテルの一部です。

ピオピコは一つ言葉で説明すると「素晴らしい」お店です。おしゃれなインテリア、とても親切なスタッフ、めちゃくちゃ美味しいメニューで絶妙なタコスバーです。機会があれば絶対言った方がいい、非常におすすめなお店です。
