Between Umeda station (roughly 15 minute on foot) and Minami-Morimachi station (7 minutes on foot) is a stylish café called 'Omo & Coffee (&liqueur)'. Omo opened on 20 may 2022 operates as a café during the day, opening at 7 AM and transforms into a bar at night, closing at 5 AM the next morning. The meaning of the name omo according to the owner, Omo stands for 'One of Many Others, with the concept that all customers can just relax and forget their social status or even their names when they are at the cafe. Perhaps some customers have stress or issues in their social life, so Omo wants to offer the cafe where customers can relax.

The café sits along the Honjo Nishitenman road on the ground floor of a large office building and has a Japanese stylish exterior with black wood paneling featuring a large glass lightbox with the cafe’s logo hanging from its canopy. The façade also features traditional Japanese glass in wood sliding doors with Showa era Japanese frosted glass and two bamboo plants in front of the café to finish the Japanese look.

The interior is spacious and also has a traditional Japanese style design featuring ishitatami (large cobble stones) placed in a gravel stone garden using gravel from Nara near the entrance. Directly right of the entrance is a hidden nook for two people which offers more intimacy. In the back of the café are five tables for two as well as the bar with six counter chairs. Finally there is a table bench set for four people near the entrance that sits on the gravel garden.

The bar features a beautiful cupboard with shoji sliding doors that elegantly hides the alcohol bottles and tableware. The kitchen counter is a stunning piece of solid cedar wood.

Omo's menu is large and offers anything for anyone, with coffee, alcohol, sweets and breakfast, lunch and even dinner. For their morning menu they have toast, hotdog, pizza toast or egg sandwich. For lunch or dinner they serve beef stew, cheese gratin as well as pasta Neapolitan or carbonara. Sweets consists of pudding, cheesecake or a chocolate sundae.

The atmosphere in the café in the morning is relaxing mood with soft music playing in the background. Unfortunately, the café allows smoking inside, but even then, if you are able to stand it, it is worth a visit for the interior alone.

梅田駅（徒歩約15分）と南森町駅（徒歩7分）の間ぐらいにおしゃれなカフェ・バー「Omo & Coffee（＆リキュール）」『オーエムオーアンドコーヒー』があります。 2022年5月20日にオープンした Omo は、午前7時に開店で、日中はカフェとして営業、夜はバーに変身して、翌朝5時に閉店します。店名の説明はオーナーから「文書にするとOne  Of Many Others で(大勢のうちの1人)とゆうのが直訳です。僕たちが提案する空間では普段かかえてる「役職」や「立場」、「個人名」すら忘れて寛いでほしいと思いつけました。」という意味になっています。

カフェは本庄西天満通り沿いの大きなオフィスビルの 1 階にあり、外観はカフェのロゴがついてる大きなガラスのライトボックスが庇からぶら下がっていて、黒い木製の板を覆えている伝統的な和風のスタイリッシュな外観になっています。 ファサードには、昭和時代の和風ウッドとすりガラスの引き戸とカフェの前にある2つの竹の植物で完全に和風の外観になっています。

店内は広々として、入口の近くに奈良産の砂利を使用した中庭に石畳を配した伝統的な和風デザイン。 入り口のすぐ右には、よりプライベートな雰囲気する2人用の隠れた隅があります。カフェの奥には二人掛けのテーブルが5つとカウンター席六つのバーもあります。 最後に、砂利の中庭に4人用のテーブルベンチセットがあります。

バーの後ろにあるカップボードは障子の扉が閉じたら、お酒のボトルや食器をスタイリッシュに隠しています。キッチンカウンターは美しい杉の無垢材で作られています。

メニューは豊富で、コーヒー、アルコール、スイーツ、朝食、ランチ、ディナーなど、誰にでも何でもあります。 朝のメニューには、トースト、ホットドッグ、ピザトースト、または卵サンドイッチがあります。 ランチ又はディナーには、ビーフシチュー、チーズドリア、ナポリタンまたはカルボナーラのパスタからも選ばれます。 スイーツはプリン、チーズケーキ、チョコレートサンデーなどもあります。

朝のカフェは、静かな音楽が流れていて落ち着いた雰囲気がします。ただ、残念ながら店内は喫煙可ですが、我慢できるならインテリアさえでも行ってみるの価値ありです。
