Located in central Kyoto, right next to Keihan Line's Jingu-Marutamachi Station exit 2 or 4 is the stylish café 'more'.

More was previous called 'Source' that opened it's doors in 2013. In June of 2019 it was renovated and re-opened under its new name on June 27, 2019.

The café is located on the ground floor of an apartment building and has a simple but stylish exterior with a slick mortar wall and large windows set in a metal frame. Inside the cafe has a narrow but deep interior with the kitchen on the left. Near the entrance are 3 tables that share a stylish long wooden bench with a wooden slats back. Further in the back is a counter with 6 seats, then a round table with 4 seats and all the way in the end is a semi-private room with another table. The walls and ceiling of the interior are exposed concrete. However two walls in the back are all covered with vertical wooden slats. The 'private' room has a glass barrier and a wooden door that can either be closed or opened (and thus block the view of the people inside the room to give it more privacy.

But forget about the interior because the most important thing about more is the food. If you are looking for delicious food in Kyoto, More is the place to be. They usually only have two dishes (today's plate lunch or today's sandwich lunch), but whichever one you choose you will not be disappointed. The dishes look great and are healthy. We will let the pictures do the talking but we'll tell you this, the chicken (soft and tasty) and the French fries are absolutely AMAZING. One of the best chicken and French fries in Japan, no exaggeration. They also have sweets on the menu.

Delicious food, super friendly staff, stylish interior and conveniently located on walking distances from Kyoto National Park, Heian Shrine, Kyocera Museum of art etc, more is highly recommended.

More has the most suitable name for its café, because after you eat there you definitely want more.

京都中心、京阪線の神宮丸太町駅出口2番や4番のすぐ近くにスタイリッシュなカフェ「more」があります。

元々店名は「Source」として2013年にオープンしました。2019年の6月に改装されて、6月27日に新しい店名「More」にオープンしました。

カフェはマンションの1階にあり、外観は主にモルタルと金属の窓フレーム、シンプルでスタイリッシュ。店内でお店は細長いインテリアになっています。入口のすぐ隣にテーブルが３つで壁に長いウッドベンチで繋がっています。その奥の方にカウンター席があり、さらに奥に丸いテーブルと一番奥に個室的なスペースがあります。インテリアは主に打ちっぱなしコンクリートで奥の壁はウッドパネルで覆われています。個室はガラスバリアでセパレートされて、ウッドの引き戸は閉じれるけど、開いたら余計に席が見えなくなるのでよりよいプライバシー作れる。

インテリアの話はそこまで。今大事にの話が始まります。京都には美味しい食べ物「ランチ」を探したら、moreですぐ決める！だいたいプレートランチは二つ「本日のプレートランチか本日のサンドイッチランチ」しかないけどどちでも美味しい！本当にがっかりしない。プレートランチは見て目で美味しいそうだしヘルシーだし。でも説明するより写真みた方がいい。一言だけど、こちらのチキンとフライドポテトは上手い！めちゃくちゃうまい！間違えなく、日本のベストの一つ！

スイーツもあります。

美味しいご飯、スタッフもとてもフレンドリー、インテリアもスタイリッシュと場所も便利「京都御苑、平安神宮、など近いからお出かけに良い」からとてもおすすめなお店です。
