GUFO Groovy Ice Cream is a small ice-cream shop in the trendy Yotsubashi district that serves very stylish and extremely delicious ice-creams in cups, cones or mason jars.

With a relatively big colored neon ice-cream cone sign next to the window it is hard to miss this cute little ice cream shop called “GUFO”, in the very trendy Yotsubashi area and only a 5 min walk from Shinsaibashi station.

Upon entering the shop you are welcomed by the cheerful staff who will be so kind to explain their menu and choices for the day.

The shop offers a variety of ice creams including ice-cream cones, ice-cream in cups, jars and the special seasonal treats which are extremely popular for the instagrammers and amasses dozens of uploads every day.

The flavor of the icecream is some of the best we’ve tasted in Osaka and the ice-creams look absolutely stylish and delicious with big pieces of fruit depending on which flavor you choose of course. We recommend cups or jarred ice cream which are easier to eat from.

In the background you will hear some top notch electronic dance music (most of it streamed by our partner FRISKY.fm).

GUFO also sells bottled ice-cream online but we really recommend visiting their lovely shop and staff.
