If you are looking for a great hot dog stand in Osaka, look no further, 'FAT DOG STAND' is the place to be. Its located on a stone throw from Tanimachi Line - Tanimachi-6-Chome station Exit 4, inside the Karahori shopping arcade.

Fat dog stand stand opened in February of 2017 and after a very successful year they moved to a busier location in 2018 with even better access. The shop sits in a crowded shopping arcade and throughout the day new and regular customers come and go. It's a cheerful and lively place, with staff joyfully conversing with regulars. The shop also has a symbol pet, a cute schnauzer that also draws a crowd. The shop is small with a few small benches in front of the shop for sitting 'outside' which is ideal because its a covered shopping arcade so even if it rains you'll be able to enjoy the hotdogs.

Fat Dog stand sells five hotdogs:

• Plain Dog (with onion and pickles)
• Poutine Dogs (with onion, mashed potato, cheese, gravy)
• BC Dog (with onion, pickles, bacon and cheese)
• Frog Dog (with onion, pickles, French fries and cheese)
• Osaka Classic (with onion, curry cabbage and red ginger)

The hotdogs can be bought separately or as a set that includes a drink and French fries. On top of that there are also extra toppings like Jalapenos (+80 yen), mashed potato (+80 yen), cheese (+100 yen) or bacon (+200 yen). The hot dogs are homemade, juicy and absolutely delicious.

The menu also has a large variety of beverages that include various coffees, softdrinks and of course alcohol.

ファットドッグ スタンドは 2017年2月にオープンして、1年間でめちゃ大人気になって、そして2018 年の3月にはより良いロケーションに移転しました。賑やかな商店街にあり、毎日多くのお客様が行き交う。陽気な雰囲気で、スタッフも良く通ってる知り合いと楽しい話しています。さらに、ショップの象徴のペット犬、可愛いシュナウザーも居て、良く通ってる人に声かけられて、撫でられる。お店は小さくて、お店の前に小さなベンチはいくつか配置されています。商店街の中だから、雨の日にもホットドッグを楽しめれます。
