On a ten minute walk from Kyoto Kawaramachi station is Chestnut specialist Saori which has been making big waves recently with their amazing and stylish Chestnut-cream sweets.

Their most popular product is their 1mm thick chestnut-cream covered ice-cream which doesn’t only look stylish it also tastes fantastic. The ice-cream consists of a bowl filled with ice-cream, a merengue cone on top and covered with the 1mm thick chesntnut-cream.

Saori is extremely popular so expect long waiting times even during weekdays. We recommend coming at least one hour before opening to get a number. Takeout however starts one hour after opening so that might confuse some customers. Either way, its definitely worth the wait.

和栗専門　沙織の「1mm和栗のモンブランソフト」が一番人気です。見た目がとてもおしゃれで味もめちゃくちゃ美味しい。

和栗専門　沙織は大人気なので待ち時間が結構長いですが早い時間「オープン1時間前」来て方が非常おすすめします。テイクアウトはオープンから1時間後スタートなのでちょっとわかりにくいけど本当に価値がある。
