The hostel and cafe was founded by sisters Mone and Aino in 2017 and sits in a renovated 40-year old building that used to house a printing office.

The café is located on the ground floor of the building, with a façade of large glass sliding doors that double as the entrance.

Inside, you'll find a spacious setting centered around a large, communal tall table surrounded by counter chairs. On the right side of the café, there are small tables for two, while the left side features a cozy sofa area. The interior embraces an industrial design, with concrete and hardwood elements complemented by decorative plants, flowers, and soft fabrics, creating a relaxing atmosphere.

The guest rooms, designed by interior designer Aino, reflect a vision of welcoming guests as though they were visiting a friend's room. The design is simple yet comfortable, preserving the building’s industrial character.

The café opens at 8 AM and serves a variety of drinks and food. Beverage options include coffee, lattes, cola, juices, teas, and alcoholic choices such as craft beer and wine. The menu also features delicious baked treats, toast, small snacks, and affogato. NINIROOM is a charming neighborhood café that warmly welcomes both newcomers and regulars. Opening early in the morning, it serves delicious breakfasts, prepared and served by friendly staff who speak fluent English.
