Housed within a renovated machiya, Cafe Kwataro seamlessly blends history with modernity, featuring a stylish Japandi interior design combined with remnants of the previous building like the beautiful wicker ceiling. The front area of the cafe features the kitchen and a small seating area with a Scandinavian style design. Passing the kitchen to the back of the cafe, the spacious interior unfolds to reveal a spacious lounge area with a full-width glass window at the rear, offering a serene vista of the traditional Japanese garden adorned with a torii gate, a tsukubai (stone water basin), and a tourou (garden lantern).

外観はシンプルでスタイリッシュですが、暖簾をくぐるとガラスの引き戸から店内に入ります。店の手前にはキッチンと小さな丸いテーブルが配置され、このスペースは北欧のデザインが取り入れられています。カフェの奥に進むと、広々としたラウンジスペースがあり、その奥には全面ガラス張りで、素敵な伝統的な庭園が広がります。
