Almost 20 years in business, 'Café Bibliotic Hello' is one of the most well known and most popular cafes in Kyoto and for a good reason.

The café is located conveniently between Karasuma Oike Station, Marutamachi Station, Jingu Marutamachi Station and Kyoto ShiyakushoMae Station as well as on a walking distance from Kyoto Imperial Palace.

Bibliotic Hello opened its doors in 2002 and is situated in a 130 year old machiya. It stands out from the neighborhood with large banana trees in front of the café. The façade has large windows but since the windows have a dark tint as well as being covered behind the foliage its difficult to see inside. This gives the café a cozy atmosphere as well as a sense of privacy.

The interior has a retro style design with a focus on the large book shelve that extends to the second floor. There are a variety of different seats to choose from including a large dining table, some living room table style seats, in the back there are even more tables and there is even a table outside in the back patio.  Then there are also tables on the second floor. Most of the furniture is old teak from the Bali islands.

The menu consists of salads, sandwiches, curry and hashed beef and everything tastes absolutely fantastic. They also a have small selection of sweets for dessert. オーペンからやく20年ぐらいに、「カフェ ビブリオティック ハロー!」は、京都で最も有名で人気のカフェの1つです。カフェを訪れたら理由がはっきりわかります。

カフェは築130年の京町屋に位置しています。

烏丸御池駅、丸太町駅、神宮丸太町駅、京都市役所前駅のちょうど真ん中に、京都御所から徒歩10分いないにとても便利なロケーションに位置してます。カフェの前に大きなバナナツリーが立っている。外観は大きな窓になってますが窓の色が濃く、バナナの葉の後ろなので、中が見えにくくて、居心地の良い雰囲気とプライバシーが保たれています。

インテリアは2階まで続く大きな本棚を中心としたレトロなデザインになっています。様々なお客席が用意されており、大きなダイニングテーブル、リビングルームのテーブルの席もあります。奥にはさらに多くのテーブルがあり、一番奥にあるパティオにもテーブルがあります。それから2階にもテーブルがあります。家具はバリ島のオールドチークです。
