The cafe is managed by a cheerful friendly lady and its unique name stems from the owner's previous occupation as a tile storage space proprietor.

Tucked away in a quiet alley off the bustling HigashiOji Street, this cozy cafe is easily recognizable by its glass-in-wood sliding entrance doors that have a lighter color wood contrasting that to the buildings white and darkwood exterior.

The interior of the cafe is a beautiful blend of old and new, with plenty of natural light streaming in through the large windows, the atrium, and transparent corrugated plates above the entrace. The space is adorned with antique furniture, including a striking hardwood cabinet near the entrance, as well as a stunning blue tile kitchen counter wall.

The menu at Tile's Coffee and Sweets offers a selection of lunch plates and a rotating selection of homemade sweets, such as carrot cake, caramel butter cake, scones, and cookies, which are also available for take-out. 2022年9月23日にオープンして、「Tile’s　珈琲と菓子」はリノベーションされた築100年以上の町屋に位置している居心地の良い雰囲気のカフェです。優しい女性の店主で営まれて、店名はオーナーは以前タイル倉庫の所有者であったことに由来しています。

カフェは京阪線東福寺駅から徒歩で約10分にあり、東大路道沿いの横道の狭い通路の奥に位置して、白いとダークウッドの伝統的な日本のデザインで明るいガラスウッド引き戸ですぐわかります。

大きな窓やアトリウム、エントランス上の透明な波板から自然光がたっぷりと差し込む店内は、古さと新しさが調和した美しい空間になっています。 店内はアンティークの家具、エントランスの近くに印象的なハードウッドのキャビネットと素敵な青いタイルのキッチンカウンターの腰壁で素敵なインテリアになっています。

メニューには、ランチプレートやキャロットケーキ、キャラメルバターケーキ、スコーン、クッキーなどの様々な自家製スイーツもあります。スイーツはテイクアウトも可能です。ランチプレートはボリュームたっぷりで焼きたてパン、レモンとパセリのソーセージ、菜の花サラダ、インゲンとズッキーニのグリル、野菜、卵とスープで構成されて、とても美味しくて、絶対満足になるランチです。
