Sloth Coffee Lab (instagram.com/slothcoffee_roasters) opened on June 18, 2025, in the Nakazakicho area of Osaka, just a short walk from either Nakazakicho Station on the Tanimachi Line or Tenjinbashisuji 6-chome Station on the Sakaisuji Line. Tucked away in a quiet alley, it marks the third branch of Sloth Coffee, following the original shops in Motomachi, Kobe and the Nakatsu area. The café spans two floors and offers generous seating throughout.

The exterior features a clean, minimalist design with the signature Sloth Coffee logo in black set against a white façade. Large ground-floor windows provide a clear view into the dark dimly lit interior. The entrance, located around the side of the building, leads through a sliding door to a modern ordering counter where a large digital screen displays the menu. A small case showcases the day’s selection of house-made sweets, accompanied by "Squeaky Coffee"`s HOM coffee sniffer bottles. On the first floor, there’s a spacious kitchen and order counter, several counter seats, and three tables for four. Upstairs, guests will find a larger seating area with a communal table, multiple two-person tables, and a counter with electrical outlets for those looking to work or study.

The menu includes a well-rounded variety of coffee beverages such as hand-drip coffee, espresso, Americano, café latte, flat white, vanilla bean latte, hazelnut latte, and a refreshing yuzu espresso tonic. Non-coffee options range from houjicha and matcha lattes to kid-friendly drinks. Alongside the drinks, Sloth Coffee Lab offers a rotating selection of fresh baked goods, including banana bread, gâteau breton, lemon cake, and tiramisu, all designed to pair well with their coffee offerings.
