Motogyusha is a charming cafe and ceramics gallery located in the outskirts of Uji, Kyoto. This hidden gem sits in a beautifully renovated cow barn that exudes a relaxing atmosphere. The cozy rustic interior was designed and renovated by the owner himself, and the windows were repurposed from a 100-year-old abandoned elementary school, giving the cafe a unique touch.

Motogyusha offers a wide range of menu items, including various coffee, tea, and homemade apple juice with chunks of apple in it. For food, patrons can choose from sandwiches, cake-sets, or pancakes, all served on beautiful pottery and hand-blown glass items that can be purchased in the on-site shop.

With only five tables and two counters with about 20 seats, Motogyusha can get busy during weekends or lunchtime, so it is recommended to come early. The cafe's location in the middle of nature means that the surrounding scenery changes with the seasons, making it a lovely place to visit throughout the year.

「基牛舎」『もとぎゅうしゃ』は、京都・宇治の郊外にある素敵なカフェ兼陶芸ギャラリーです。 建物は昔牛舎であり、全部店主にデザインとリノベーションされました。窓は築100年の廃校だった小学校を再利用されました。隠れ家のようなカフェですが、店内は居心地の良い雰囲気がします。

メニューはさまざまなコーヒー、紅茶、リンゴの塊が入った自家製のリンゴジュースなど、豊富なメニューを提供しています。 食べ物については、サンドイッチ、ケーキセット、またはパンケーキから選ぶことができます。すべて、敷地内のショップで購入できる美しい陶器と手吹きガラスのアイテムで提供されます。

お客席はテーブルとカウンター席で構成されて、合計は20人ぐらいまで入れるから、週末やランチタイムは混む可能性が高いので、早めの来店がおすすめです。 自然の中に佇むカフェは、四季折々に変化する景色を楽しめ、一年を通して訪れるのに最適な場所です。
