Located in North East Kyoto in a small town called Ohara is a rustic and cozy café called 'Kulm'. It's located off the beaten path and situated along the Takano river.

From the parking or busstop its a short walk along a few small farm fields. The café might be a little hard to find as it's almost hidden by a raised grass field.

The cafe has big windows that are covered by bamboo blinds. Inside you will find an interior that is a mix of rustic, minimal and modern elements.

Kulm offers a variety of delicious lunchplates that include curry, pasta or pizza. They also serve alcohol.

Kulm is a must visit! It's nearby Hosen-in temple so great for outings but just Kulm alone is worth the trip.

京都の大原に素敵なラスティックスタイルなカフェ「くるむ」があります。高野川沿いに位置して、畑に囲まれてるからちょっと見つけにくいかもしれない。

カフェの雰囲気がとても居心地がいいで、暖かい雰囲気がします。

ランチメニューがとても美味しくて、カレー、パスタやピザから選ばれます。アルコールもあります。

宝泉院神社の近くなのでお出かけについで、とてもおすすめですが、お出かけじゃなくて、カフェだけでもとても価値があります。
