Located in central Kyoto on an eight-minute walk from Nijo Station is a lovely little café called "Kissa Mugi". Nestled within a standalone house, Kissa Mugi occupies the ground floor, giving it a unique charm. At first glance, it might not immediately strike you as a cafe, as its appearance resembles that of an ordinary residence, save for its double door entrance.

Inside however you'll be welcomed by a charming rustic interior adorned with warm wooden accents and a lovely tile-covered wall adjacent to the kitchen. With seating capacity for up to 10 people, Kissa Mugi offers a cozy ambiance, including four kitchen counter chairs, a small table for four, and a petite counter for two near the entrance. Next to the entrance you'll also find a selection of various general goods displayed.
