The shop sits in a large machiya building that is part of the machiya-club, a project that aims to preserve and utilize traditional machiya buildings in Omihachiman district. Going Nuts is situated in a former sake brewery, and visitors can still see remnants of the brewery, such as the massive metal containers located in the adjacent building.

Going Nuts sells a large variety of nuts and dried fruits as well as nuts & dried fruits smoothies and even various nuts-butters. The nuts and dried fruits can be bought per gram or in small jars that are sold as tsumehoudai (fill all you can) for 2000 yen. Inside the store, you'll find a line of roughly 40 to 50 large glass cylinders brimming with different types of nuts that customers are free to  fill up the store's bags and jars with. Nuts include pecan nuts, macadamia, pistachio, almonds, cashew nuts among others that each come in different flavors or smoked variations. If you plan to buy multiple variations we recommend separating smoked and non-smoked nuts at least. You can also buy nuts and other products on their official homepage here.

Smoothies come in various flavors mixed with various nuts and/or other ingredients and include anti-aging smoothie, ginger nuts smoothie, cacao nuts smoothie, hachiman nuts smoothie and many more.

In addition to 'Going Nuts,' the connected building and surrounding shops, as well as the town of Omihachiman itself, offer a delightful destination with numerous stores, historic sites, and charming buildings, making it a highly recommended spot for a day trip.

There are parking spots for five cars as well as a times parking place in the vicinity.

ゴーイング ナッツでは、様々な種類のナッツとドライフルーツ、ナッツとドライフルーツのスムージー、さらにはさまざまなナッツバターを販売しています。 ナッツやドライフルーツは1グラム単位または小瓶入りの詰め放題で2,000円で購入できます。お得！

店内には、さまざまな種類のナッツが詰め込まれた約 40 ～ 50 個の大きなガラスジャーが並んでおり、お客様は店のバッグや瓶に自由に詰めることができます。 ナッツには、ピーカン ナッツ、マカダミア ナッツ、ピスタチオ、アーモンド、カシュー ナッツなどがあり、様々なフレーバーや燻製されたナッツもあります。 普通とスモークナッツを購入する場合は分けた方がおすすめです。オンラインでも購入が出来ます。

スムージーも、様々なナッツや他の材料を混ぜたフレーバーがあり、アンチエイジング スムージー、ジンジャー ナッツ スムージー、カカオ ナッツ スムージー、八幡ナッツ スムージーなどがあります。全部テイクアウトになりますが、外はベンチ席が用意されています。
