Located in Central Kyoto near the popular tourist attraction Nijo Castle and on a five minute walk from Tozai Line - Nijojo-mae Station is "Antenna" instagram.com/antenna_kyoto/, a cozy café that opened its doors in May 2023.

The café sits on the ground floor of a small office building with the entire exterior consisting of marble and a full glass façade. However stepping inside the café you will find a cozy rustic interior decorated with dry flowers. The interior spacious with four tables for two and four seats along the kitchen counter.

The main menu consists of delicious daily lunch plates that consists of either sandwich or quiche plates. Sandwich plates includes potato salad and vegetable sandwich, herb chicken  and egg sandwich, thick sliced bacon and ratatouille BLT or smoked salmon tofu cream cheese sandwich. Quiche includes Loraine quiche ( made with cheese and bacon), prawn and Kyoto vegetable quiche or lotus root and shrimp quiche. There is also a soup plate available. Every set is prepared carefully and comes with many small side dishes making for a fantastic volumy lunch. Besides lunch plates the café also sells sweets for after lunch or just a coffee break.

Run by a friendly owner, Antenna is a great place for delicious lunch in a comfortable atmosphere.

京都中心に、2023年の5月にオープンした、大人気の世界遺産の二条城の近くと東西線二条城前駅からとほで5分ぐらいのところに、「Antenna」という居心地の良い雰囲気のカフェがあります。

カフェはマーブルに覆われているオフィスビルの1階にあり、カフェの全幅はガラス張りのファサードになっていますので外から見るとカフェに見えない。お店に入ったら広々としてインテリアが、ウッドの家具とドライフラワーの飾りでラスティックスタイルでとても居心地の良い雰囲気のインテリアになっています。

メインメニューは、サンドイッチプレートまたはキッシュプレートからの日替わりランチプレートから選ばれます。 サンドイッチ プレートには、ポテトサラダと野菜のサンドイッチ、ハーブチキンと卵のサンドイッチ、厚切りベーコンとラタトゥイユ BLT またはスモーク サーモン豆腐クリーム チーズ サンドイッチがあります。 キッシュは、ロレーヌキッシュ（チーズとベーコン）、海老と京野菜のキッシュ、またはレンコンと海老のキッシュもあります。サンドイッチやキッシュ以外にはスーププレートもあります。 どのセットでも、丁寧に作られており、小さなおかずもたくさん付いているので、ボリュームたっぷりのランチが楽しめれます。 カフェではランチプレート以外にも、ランチ後やコーヒーブレイクにぴったりのスイーツも販売されています。
