[ Temporarily Closed ] Located along the Philosopher's path, famous for it's beautiful cherry blossom view in Kyoto is this narrow and cozy café called 'Brown Eyes Coffee'. The café is situated in a 116 year old renovated warehouse. During the renovation some parts of the building (sand walls, ceiling, exterior) have been left intact while adding modern materials and elements.

The café has both eat-in and take-out options. If you eat-in you will first have to make your order at the counter on the first floor and after that you can take a seat on the second floor. The stairs to the second floor are steep so caution is recommended. The second floor has a narrow and cozy seating space with a beautiful large natural wood dining table with a Le Klint 1-35 Pendant Light hanging above it for up to 6 people. Then near the windows is a long wooden bench that can seat up to 3 people. The window seats have a beautiful view over the philosophers path in front of the café, especially beautiful during cherry blossom season.

Besides coffee and softdrinks the café focuses mostly on it's delicious sweets. The sweets menu changes from time to time but they usually have a variety of cheesecakes, rollcakes or tarts. If you don't like coffee, they also sell a melon soda float with vanilla icecream.

The café can also be booked for a private gatherings for up to 11 people.

Brown Eyes Coffee is a lovely renovated café located in a 116 year old building that sells delicious coffee and sweets. It's has friendly staff and is a great place to relax with a lovely view over the Philosophers path. Especially recommended during Cherryblossom season.

京都にある、特に美しい桜の景色で有名な哲学の道沿いに居心地の良いカフェ「ブラウンアイズコーヒー」がります。築116年の蔵をリノベーションした。改修中、建物の一部（砂壁、天井、外装）はそのまま残され、モダンな素材と要素が追加されています。

カフェには、イートインとテイクアウトの両方のオプションがあり、イートインする場合は、まず1階で注文してから急の階段をあがると2階のカフェスペースで席を選ばれます。 2階のカフェスペースは結構狭くて居心地の良い雰囲気になってます。大きいで綺麗な無垢材のダイニングテーブルと6つの椅子があり、ダイニングテーブルの上におしゃれなLe Klint 1-35 ペンダントライトがぶら下がっています。さらに窓側に長い木製のベンチがあり、3人が座れます。窓際の席からカフェ前にある哲学が見えます。特に桜の季節にはとてもいい景色です。

コーヒーとソフトドリンクより、おいしいスイーツの方が中心です。お菓子のメニューは時々変わりますが、通常は様々なチーズケーキ、ロールケーキ、タルトがあります。コーヒーが苦手な方のために、バニラアイスクリームのメロンソーダフロートもあります。

カフェには、11人までの貸し切り予約もできます。
