Room2 Coffee & Roaster

Located on a short walk from JR Tokaido-Sanyo Line’s Kakogawa Station in Hyogo prefecture, you’ll find the stylish and inviting ‘ Room2 Coffee & Roaster ‘ café. This cozy coffee shop, which opened its doors on March 31, 2021, combines a cafe, roastery and bar.

Housed within a charming chalk white corner building, the cafe spans two floors. The ground floor features the kitchen with a glass case displaying today’s delicious sweets and a cafe space with two large tables, each with four counter chairs and above an atrium that gives the cafe a sense of spaciousness. Going up the stairs in the back you’ll find another seating area with wooden tables, benches, a leather sofa and four more counter chairs with a view over the space below. A small path leads to a bar and DJ booth in the rear. The cafe gives off a cozy and rustic ambiance, thanks to its wooden interior and furniture, which blend seamlessly with industrial accents.

Room2 boasts an impressive morning, lunch, and dinner menu, ensuring a diverse array of delicious food and beverages. The morning menu includes tasty options like a fruit sandwich plate, avocado open sandwich, croque madam, or a salad open sandwich (please note that the menu is subject to change). For lunch or dinner, guests can enjoy more savory plates such as curry, quiche, pasta, or chicken over rice. Additionally, the cafe offers a variety of mouth watering sweets, including martozzo, various cakes, and even parfaits.
