Rette

Located conveniently between Sakaisuji Line’s Sakaisuji-Hommachi Station and Tanimachi Line’s Tanimachi-4-Chome station, on just a 5 minute walking distance from each station is the stylish cafe ‘Rette’ . The café sits on the ground floor of the corner of Royal Uchihommachi apartment building along the bustling Hommachi dori, providing a convenient and easily accessible location for customers.

The café opened on April 09, 2020 and the name’s origin comes from the word Serendipity. It has a bright and inviting mostly white interior with an influence of Scandinavian style design. The walls and ceilings are painted white and the wooden tables, chairs and window counter chairs are all made of natural wood, that in combination with the large windows letting in the natural light, adds warmth and texture to the space.

Rette specializes in delicious panini, made with fresh ingredients and a variety of tasty fillings that change weekly. Some of the ingredients include ham, ham&cheese, egg, chicken or spicy chicken but there is also, pulled pork, shrimp, ham & fig and even fried fish, just take a look at Rette’s official instagram account `s panini highlight to get a glimpse of all the delicious ingredients as well as what is on the menu for that week. These paninis can also be enjoyed as a set with a side salad. Besides panini Rette also sells French toast, granola and a variety of delicious sweets.
