BABBI GELATERIA

On a 5 minute walk from Hankyu Kyoto line’s Kawaramachi Station and along the Kamo River is Babbi Gelateria Kyoto, a stylish ice-cream, Italian wafer and sweets shop. Babbi started out as a high brand chocolates shop in big department stores but opened a special ice-cream shop in October of 2019.

The shop has a stylish modern interior that uses Japanese design influences that fits perfectly in Kyoto.

The café area in the back has a lovely view over the Kamo river and is especially great to visit in the summer and during cherry blossom season.

Babbi Gelateria sells mainly ice-cream in cups or cones with a selection of over 15 flavors including (mascarpone pistachio, sweet potato, amarena, caffe mocha and many more. Besides ice cream they also sell a variety of other sweets (parfaits, gelato shake, cream soda and of course their original chocolates).

Babbi Gelateria is a stylish ice-cream shop with a nice view over the Kamo river that sells delicious ice-cream and other sweets, a great place to stop by for dessert.
