A new café has opened in Kyoto, bringing together three renowned brands: Tokyo's popular Higuma Donuts, coffee specialist Coffee Wrights (also from Tokyo), and Danish craft beer company Mikkeller. The venue, named "Higuma Doughnuts × Coffee Wrights × Mikkeller Kyoto," opened on November 16, 2024, at Rissei Hiroba, conveniently located near Kawaramachi Station on the Hankyu Kyoto Line. Visitors can enjoy artisanal donuts, specialty coffee, and craft beer all in one location.

The café features a distinctive layout with a central kitchen and order counter flanked by seating areas on both sides. Its minimalist modern design includes Higuma merchandise displays and showcases their playful motto "人生で必要な三つ" (meaning "you only need 3 things in life" - referring to coffee, donuts, and beer), which perfectly captures the café's concept.

The donut menu centers around six classic varieties: plain, sugar, cinnamon sugar, kinako (roasted soybean flour), raspberry, and chocolate dip. They also offer seasonal specialties and premium varieties, including collaborations featuring matcha from Kyoto's renowned Yugen tea shop, with the option to enjoy any donut served with ice cream. The beverage selection ranges from coffee classics like espresso, americano, and café latte (priced at ¥650) with decaf options available, to non-coffee alternatives including chai latte, matcha latte, tea, along with refreshing sodas, juices, and kid-friendly beverages.
