Triton Cafe

Located on the slope of Kitanozaka on a roughly eight minute walk from Hankyu Kobe Sannomiya station is the extremely popular “Triton Cafe”. It sits on the second floor of a large office building and can be accessed from the wooden stairs to the side of the building. Triton opened its doors in March of 2000 and is the second branch of Triton, with the main one in Daikanyama, which sadly closed its doors in 2021.

It’s a spacious cafe with a rustic interior that can seat up to 45 customers and consists of mostly table seats for 2 or 4 persons and counter seating along the windows in the front of the cafe that offer a lovely view over the bustling Kitanozawa road down below. Thanks to the large windows plenty of natural light enters the café and give is a cozy atmosphere.

The menu offers lunch sets that include pasta lunch, Triton curry, burger and even doria (a type of rice gratin), sweets including pudding, cheesecake, pancakes and even seasonal sweets which usually is a selection between a parfait or tart.

Triton is a stylish café that serves delicious lunch or sweets and is conveniently located near Kitano area which makes it a great combination for an outing.
