That’s Pizza is a notable pizza chain in Osaka that originated from a single store in Higashi Osaka’s Fuse area. Due to its immense popularity, it swiftly expanded, establishing two additional stores in MinamiHorie and Toyosaki. In August 2022, That’s Pizza opened its fourth shop “ That’s Pizza Tamatsukuri ” in the Tamatsukuri area, run by the young and hip Daisuke-san, who learned the art of pizza-making from his Italian friend hailing from Napoli. At the Tamatsukuri branch, pizzas are baked in a traditional kiln, using homegrown as well as ingredients imported from Italy.

That’s Pizza Tamatsukuri branch sits on a five minute walk from Nagahoritsurumiryokuchi Line – Tamatsukuri Station exit 2, on the ground floor of an office building and can be recognized by the large yellow face-in-the-hole board in front of the shop. The shop is spacious with a casual atmosphere featuring pop art style elements and features a large mural called “Tabasco” made by sota_comichead , haskey_c and ogoogo . The pizzeria offers both table and counter seats, ensuring that whether you’re alone or with family, everyone can enjoy the experience indoors.

At the Tamatsukuri branch, pizzas come in 25 cm diameter and are offered in two bases: tomato-based options such as margherita, anchovy garlic, ortolano, seafood, boscaiola, and more, as well as mozzarella cheese-based choices like funghi, tuna & corn, quattro formaggi, and others. Additionally, they serve calzone and dessert pizzas. Beyond pizzas, the shop offers an array of side dishes including fried rice balls, fries, chicken nuggets, pizza fritters, salads, and even smoked chicken or bacon. Opting for a half-and-half pizza costs an extra charge of 200 yen.

That’s Pizza lives up to its name, offering fantastic pizzas at the Tamatsukuri branch. Hands down one of the best pizza places in Osaka.
