OFU

Located in a quiet neighborhood between the Sakaisuji Line’s Minamimorimachi Station and Kitahama Station, sits the charming ‘OFU’ cafe (instagram.com/ofu_osaka) . Opened in July 2024, the name ‘OFU’ derives from the phrase “Day off for U (you)”, implying that one can spend a nice time at the cafe. The café occupies the ground floor of a stylish corner apartment building adorned with black diagonal boards from the first floor upwards, while OFU’s level features a white square-patterned wall.

Inside, large windows on both sides flood the space with natural light, enhancing the cozy and inviting ambiance. The spacious interior includes two tables for two along a wooden bench on the left, two tables for four, and kitchen counter seating at the back. One of the highlights is the charming vintage furniture piece repurposed as part of the kitchen counter, with baked sweets for sale displayed on top.

The menu boasts all-day breakfast plates, a variety of sandwiches, and an array of sweets including cakes (carrot cake, cheesecake) and other baked treats like scones and banana bread. Ordering is done online by scanning a QR code.
