HOOD by Vargas

On only a ONE minute walk from Midosuji line Nakatsu station or five minutes from Hankyuu-line Nakatsu station is this wonderful, small and cozy cafe/bar called “HOOD by Vargas”. It is truly a gem that is hidden away in the Nakatsu district nearby Umeda.

The café has a narrow but cozy interior that is filled with lots of antique goods from records to clothes, lamps and many other antique items. The item that stands out is their antique counter with all kinds of interesting antique stationery.

Hood by Vargas name is a name that is derived from the previous shop that was called Hood and an artists name that the owner really likes.
