Martin Kyoto! Remember that name because you will be hearing a lot more about this café in the future. Located on a short walk from Keihan Line - Jingu Marutamachi Station, this lovely cafe opened its doors on 23 July 2023 and takes over the location from its renowned predecessor Land bakery. The name "Martin" is derived from the family name of the owner's sister, who resides in Portland, USA and it's influences can be seen in the interior.

Martin sits on a stones throw from Kamo river and has it's interior and exterior both completely renovated into a lovely cozy cafe with a rustic interior featuring American and Native American elements. There is plenty of seating, consisting of a small counter near the window for two, three tables for two along the wall, a small counter for two in the back, a round table for four, and four kitchen-counter seats, totaling up to 16 customers.

The menu consists of a breakfast menu, lunch menu and cafe menu. The breakfast menu (from 09:00 to 14:30) includes a pancake plate, avocado toast plate, croque madame or raspberry jam & chicken cheese sandwich. The lunch menu (from 12:00 to 14:30) includes lasagna and the sweets menu offers donuts throughout the entire day. The plates look magnificent and everything is prepared meticulously and brought to your table with a smile.

Martin offers delicious breakfast or lunch in a cozy ambiance and is definitely a must visit on your itinerary.

嫁いだ先の家名ですあるらしい。アメリカのポートランドに住んでいて、その影響はインテリアデザインにも見られます。

マーティンは鴨川の近くにあり、内装と外装は完全に改装され、アメリカとネイティブアメリカンの要素を取り入れた素敵な居心地の良いカフェになっています。お客席が沢山あり、窓側には2人用の小さなカウンター、壁沿いには2人用のテーブルが3つ、奥には2人用の小さなカウンター、4人用の丸テーブル、さらにキッチンカウンターの席が4つあり、合計で16人のお客様が同時に入れます。

メニューは、朝食メニュー「09:00時から14:30時まで」には、パンケーキプレート、アボカドトーストプレート、クロックムダムまたはラズベリージャム＆チキンチーズサンドイッチ、ランチメニュー「12:00時から14:30時まで」には、ラザニア、またスイーツメニューでは一日中ドーナツから様々な美味しいアイテムから選ばれます。笑顔してるスタッフでテーブルまで運ばれたプレートは見た目も素敵だし、味も素晴らしい。

マーティンは美味しい朝ご飯・ランチやスイーツが提供してる素敵な居心地の良い雰囲気のカフェですが、とてもおすすめです。
