The café’s signature rose vale colored counter and high ceilings create a cheerful yet relaxed atmosphere, and the overall vibe is both minimal-modern and welcoming. 2025年2月にオープンした「Heys中之島店」（instagram.com/heyscoffee)は、大阪のカフェシーンで注目を集める存在になりつつあります。四つ橋線の肥後橋駅から徒歩で約10分、京阪線の渡辺橋駅、または中之島美術館からもすぐ近く、土佐堀川沿いに位置しており、常連客にも観光客にもアクセスしやすい立地です。陽気でフレンドリーな若いバリスタ、Shuriさんが営むHeys中之島店は、堀江にある本店に続く2号店です。

お店の外には店内と同じデザインで連携されていえるベンチが設置されており、大きな窓から自然光がたっぷり差し込む明るく開放的な店内は、居心地の良い空間となっています。インテリアデザインは、Brendデザイン会社のインテリアデザイナー・Joe Yoshimuraさん (instagram.com/joe.yoshimura)と、Shuriさん自身が一緒に手がけました。ペンキ塗りも自ら行ったカウンターや、照明、特注のウッドテーブルとイスなど、細部にまでこだわりが感じられます。カフェの象徴とも言えるローズベール色のカウンターと高い天井が、明るくリラックスした空間を演出し、全体としてミニマルでモダン、かつ居心地の良い雰囲気に仕上がっています。
