In the Northern part of Osaka (Hokusetsu area) on a 10 minute walk from Yamada station, is the extremely popular Kawakami Coffee Roaster.

The exterior of Kawakami Coffee Roaster is a combination of concrete and wood. The name of the cafe is painted with big black letters on the concrete canopy of the cafe. Above and below are wooden elements that give the exterior a retro look.

Please note, Kawakami Coffee Roaster has a delicious menu but to order food a one drink purchase is required. Since its a coffee roaster they ONLY serve coffee, so if you can’t drink coffee you won’t be able to enjoy their food. If you drink coffee however, you are in luck because their food is absolutely fantastic.

This is French-toast with homemade caramel sauce. You can choose between 3 and 6 pieces and it comes with a side of whipcream and ice. 3 pieces is MORE than enough for one person.

Kawakami does its own roasting so naturally it sells, coffee beans, powder and other coffee goods.

The interior of the cafe uses similar materials as the exterior with a long beautiful wooden counter that is aligned with a waist-high concrete partition wall that faces the kitchen. It’s not a big cafe and only has 6 seats so not for big groups.

カワカミ コーヒー ロースターの外観はコンクリートとウッドの組み合わせです。コンクリートの庇には「カワカミ コーヒー ロースター」の名前が大きいな黒い文字で書かれています。コンクリートの庇の上と下にあるウッドのエレメントでレオトロな雰囲気になっています。

カワカミ コーヒー ロースターのメニューには様々な美味しいな食品があります。ただ、食べたいならワンドライブ付きを購入する必要があります。ドリンクはコーヒーしかないからコーヒーが飲めない方は残念ですがカワカミさんの食品はエンジョイができません。コーヒー飲める方はとても美味しい食品は楽しめることができます。

メニューの一つはフレンチトーストとカワカミさんの自家製キャラメルソースです。トーストは3個や6個から選ばれますがホイップとアイスもついてきます。量がびっくりから一人なら3個は十分です。

焙煎なので、コーヒー豆、粉とコーヒーの道具は色々が販売しています。

インテリアは外観と同じく、コンクリートとウッドの素材が使われています。お客席のカウンターは綺麗なウッド、キッチンとカウンターの間にコンクリートな腰壁でとてもおしゃれな雰囲気がします。キッチンを面してスタッフと話しができます。カフェは少しい狭くて、カウンター席は6つしかない。一人や二人で行った方がおすすめです。
