On a 6 minute walk from Fukushima station or 14 minutes from Umeda is a new stylish cafe called ’Pause Coffee’ located on the edge of Fukushima area.

We are venturing into a ‘new’ part of Osaka this time and are visiting Fukushima area, not to be confused with the Fukushima prefecture North of Tokyo.

Since Fukushima is close to Osaka’s central hub (Umeda en JR Osaka Station) it is a quite well known area and already has many popular cafes.

Today we can add a new cafe to that list called ‘Pause Coffee’.

‘Pause Coffee’ opened it’s doors in November 2019 and is part of the Pause hairsalon that is located on the 2nd floor.

The cafe has a stylish small white tiled exterior with a dark blue window-door frame. In front of the window is a long stylish concrete and wooden bench where people can wait or enjoy their coffee outside. The bench is under a roofing so even when it rains you can sit outside.

The same bench can be found on the opposite side of the window on the inside. The counter is mainly matte black and some parts use the same wood finish as the benches.

In the back is a large dining table that consists of a large slab of oakwood totally fitting the rest of the stylish interior of the cafe.

‘Pause Coffee’ has quite a few delicious items on the menu of which mainly toast and hot sandwiches.

We heavily recommend their German potato sandwich.

While ‘Pause Coffee’ is on a 6 minute walking distance from Fukushima station we’d recommend walking from Umeda or JR Osaka station, it will take about 10 minutes more or less but you can save the train-fee.

JR大阪ループラインの福島駅から徒歩で6分ぐらい、もしくは梅田から徒歩で14分以内に福島に新しくオープンしたおしゃれカフェ「ポーズ　コーホー」があります。

福島エレアは梅田の近くにあるから人気なカフェが結構多いです。

今回は「福島のおしゃれカフェのリスト」に新しいおしゃれカフェを追加する事ができます。

ポーズ　ヘアというヘアサロンが2019年の11月に「ポーズ　コーヒー」をオープンしていました。

小さな白いタイルの壁と紺色のマドサッシュでスタイリッシュな外観になっています。窓の前に長いコンクリートとウッドのベンチがあります。ベンチの上にお店の天井がありますが雨降っている時でも外でコーヒー楽しめます。

窓の中側にも同じスタイルのベンチがあります。カウンターは主にマットブラックでベンチと同じ種類のウッドが棚になっています。

お店の奥におしゃれなオークウッドのダイニングテーブルがあります。テーブルの形は普通に長方形でなく、特徴のデザインです。

ポーズ　コーヒーのメニューに美味しい食品が色々あります。メインはホッとサンドとトーストです。

ジャーマンポテトのホットサンドがおすすめです。

ポーズ　コーヒーは福島駅から徒歩6分にありますが、梅田から徒歩でただ10分ですので電車代を節約することが出来ます。
